Letterpress as Fine Art
This is a mono-print framed in an old window found in my basement, restored, and turned into a sturdy frame.
Manifesto
This letterpress work is meant to move beyond production and distribution alone; it is meant to be displayed on a wall. The information is readable, but is not simply there to convey a message, to let everyone know where and when to attend an event. It is a piece that has been mounted in a hundred year-old window.
This piece is composed of quotes from the “Blast Manifesto” penned by Wyndham Lewis and Ezra Pound in the early 1900s. It was a custom commissioned work for a client.
I am happy to custom set words that are meaningful to you and restore a window to set the custom print within.
